Wire EDM Services
Our Wire EDM department can produce 4 axis parts with precision and economy. Our state of the art Wire EDMs combined with
our multiple CAD capabilities (AutoCAD, Solid Works, Bob Cad, Bob Wire) help us to produce parts and tooling to the most
exact specifications. We can wire cut prototypes to ensure your designs will function properly prior to cutting
production dies. Blank development is easy when combined with Wire EDM prototype blanks. Materials we have experience
with are All Tool Steels, Stainless Steel, Low & High Carbon Steels, Carbide, Brass, Copper, Titanium, and Nickel.
We have flexible fixtures to handle standard to very complex parts, and our in house tool room can build custom fixtures
for non conventional shaped parts or to set up multiple parts for production Wire EDM.
Dies are more accurate and easy to maintain when cut in one setup on our Wire EDM machines. The wire cut edge also
helps maintain lubrication on the inside of the die for smoother part ejection and longer die life. Our experience with
our own dies gives us an edge that Wire EDM only houses do not have. Since we build and run the dies we Wire EDM we know
what works and what doesn't and can pass that expertise along to our customer's tools.
